Living in the Eye.

So if you have ever been in a hurricane you know there is a storm, a calm, and then another storm, right now I’m living in the eye.

Storm number #1– The week before school lets out for 2 weeks scheduled at the same time as a full moon. We had school parties at 3 different schools. We had 80’s day where I felt like I was back in 5th grade myself. We had wild students, tired kids, crazy shopping trips in busy stores and hot weather.

You know it's gonna be a fun day when you are dressed like this. :)

It was out town’s hometown Christmas last weekend. We walked around in the cold looking at little shops, enjoyed the lighted Christmas parade and watching the train move around the little village.

The Eye: right now and it’s pure Bliss! A rainy day with no kids. We have watched The Hobbit, snuggled in bed while the hubster watched LoL tournaments and I slept. Christmas presents are wrapped and separated into two piles. #1 put under the tree and #2 hide in closet until Christmas morning. It has been calm and quiet and just what the hubster and I needed before the second half of the hurricane.

Storm #2 A fun and thrilling whirlwind of traditions, wrapping presents, and family visits. It will be fun. It will be busy. It’s something I love every year, but at the end of it you need time to recoup.
