Yep that’s the baby’s nickname. It just fits to me and since I’m carrying the baby I get to give out the nickname. this baby is #3, an odd year, an odd month. So I shortened oddball to Obi. Now I will admit that sometimes it comes out Obi Wan, which makes hubster laugh, especially since I have never seen ANY of those movies. I did take hubster to the teacher to see one of the newer ones that came out in the last 5 or so years, but I slept through it. I haven’t even ever seen the originals.
So interwebz here is your update on the baby’s growth and development.
How your baby’s growing:
The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you’re daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that’s the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry.
